Victory Vegas Goes Bagger

When is the last time you saw a Victory Vegas converted to a Bagger?  If you said almost never, you'd be mighty close.  This '07 Victory Vegas started life without saddlebags and was never intended to look like a touring machine.

Ian Seyerle of Plainsboro, NJ is one happy Victory motorcycle owner and an American Bagger magazine reader at the same time.  In converting his american motorcycle from its original condition to a Bagger, he became a bona fide Baggerite.

The Victory Vegas seen here could have easily become a Chopper or Bobber, but Ian decided otherwise.  He had Greg's Custom Cycle Works do all the fabrication and assembly to Bagger specs and apply a custom paint job.  Orange Pearl, Vivid Black and Metallic Pewter are the base colors with hand laid white and pewter pin striping highlighting the color panels.

Fuel injected Freedom V-Twins from Victory pump out plenty of horses as stock so the decision was made to leave the motor alone.  Of course the stock exhaust pipes had to go. Ness/Greg's Custom Cycles pipes now pull the burnt stuff out, and look mighty fine doing it.  The transmission, a foot shifted five-speed remains stock as well.

Bad Dad Hard Bags were installed making this Vegas a real Bagger.  The center section of the rear fender is also from Bad Dad, as is the license plate mount.  Rear suspension is of the air type from Bike Buddy and is adjustible while riding.  Performance machine grips are mounted on Deep Sickness handle bars from Greg's.
